DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID PLAYS THE KENTUCKY CENTER FEBRUARY 14-19 FOR A LIMITED ENGAGEMENTC
Last night I had the pleasure of attending the opening night performance of PNC Broadway in Louisville's The 5th Avenue Theatre’s production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid! It was great to relive one of my childhood favorites! The costumes and scenery are simply stunning and the cast did an amazing job or portraying the characters from the film we all love.
Diana Huey as Ariel and Matthew Kacergis as Prince Eric did a wonderful job of creating chemistry on stage! Their voices are stellar too! But the performances I loved the most were of the more entertaining characters. Jennifer Allen as Ursula is fabulous. She is not too scary so the little kids will not mind her and her humor is hilarious! Melvin Abston is loveable as Sebastian and keeps you in stitches! Jamie Torcellini was probably my favorite, as Scuttle. He tap dances! Which is amazing!
The show is nearly sold out but is playing The Kentucky Center February 14-19, 2017. This fun-filled, timeless tale is part of the 2016/2017 PNC Broadway in Louisville season.
