The kids and I attended a Monday evening performance of Derby Dinner's newest Children's Musical Theater production, Fancy Nancy!  This show was so fun and cute and kept the kids interested the entire time!  Katelyn Webb as Nancy was bubbly and outgoing, singing her little heart out!  Marina Hart, Charity Means, & Megan Massie play her friends, all of whom are coming to terms with the roles they have been cast as in the school play!  Mandi Elkins Hutchins does a great job as a comforting mom!  Alfred Jones stole the show with his Shark Rap!  My boys were giggling and laughing the whole time and at the end, a mic drop!  OMG!  Get your tickets now to see this show and make summer even more fun for the kids!

From the top of her tiara down to her sparkly shoes, Nancy's ready to take the spotlight in her first dance recital.  But when someone else gets picked to be the prima ballerina, Nancy is stuck playing a dreary, dull tree. Can she still bring fancy flair to her role when it isn't the one she wanted? Adapted from the bestselling books, FANCY NANCY THE MUSICAL is a funny, frilly ballet story with a lot of heart.

FANCY NANCY - THE MUSICAL is based on the book series by Jane O’Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser.  The book was adapted for the stage by Susan DiLallo with music and lyrics by Danny Abosch.  Musical numbers featured are “Anyone Can Be Fancy”, “I Wonder What I’ll Be”, “You’ll Always Be My Star”, “The Shark Rap”, and more!

FANCY NANCY - THE MUSICAL is under the direction of Tina Jo Wallace.

All public performances of FANCY NANCY – THE MUSICAL are on Saturdays with Breakfast at 9:00 a.m. and Lunch at 12:00 p.m.  All performances feature a kid friendly menu.  This production is most suitable for ages 3 - 12.  Remaining performances are: June 17, 24, July 1, 8.
