My oldest child got a wonderful opportunity to attend a day camp at The Summit with Abigail Academy this summer. It was billed as a Fashion Camp but it was so much more. They covered self-esteem as well as fashion. Each day is different for the campers but it is only a one day camp and you can see what will be covered by looking at the schedule. My kiddo picked pretty much a fashion day. They got to go to different stores and interact with the staff at each store but they were guided by some amazing women. The director is Abigail Mueller whom is amazing. She was able to give me a run down on the events before the day started and assure me the mom of an overly nervous 7 year old that everything was going to be okay.

When I went to pick up my child at the end of the day I found a very happy little girl. She was grinning ear to ear. Abigail gave us a tour of the area where the girls spent part of their day. While the girls prepared for their graduation. At the graduation the girls read affirmations they wrote about themselves embodying mind, body, and spirit. They also told us what their favorite part of camp (which for most of the girls was Starbucks.) There were amazing gift packets for the girls and we were told there were still spaces left for some more dates later this summer. My kiddo who was so nervous over going asked if she could go again. I have to say that is the mark of a good camp, when they ask to go again.

The staff was amazing and my kid had a good time. We would do it again next year, sooner if we didn’t have a busy summer already.

There is limited space available if your daughter would like to attend! You can find the information here.
