Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse at Stage One Review and Giveaway!
Lilly is the queen, she likes everything! This mouse is sure the world revolves around her, definitely NOT around her germy baby brother. She wants to be an opera diva, or was it a SCUBA diver, or a teacher? She loves school, she loves her boots; she is a movie star. But when everyone is too busy to admire her new purple plastic purse, Lilly learns some hard lessons in patience, and the downside of being selfish. Join Lilly and her friends, Wilson and Chester, as they learn about fear, love, CHEESE, and the little joys in life.
The boys and I went to see this fabulous new children's show at Stage One Family Theatre this past weekend and loved every minute of it! Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse is a great story that helps to teach children about how to deal with their frustration when things don't go quite the way they want. We see Lilly, played by Kate Martin, craving attention from her parents and peers. She has a new baby brother and at first, doesn't like him. But, she is silly and funny and the kids relate well to her. They see her sit in time out and see her apologize when she needs to for hurting someone's feelings. Kate does a wonderful job of making you believe she is about 7 years old!
The cast of 8 play various roles and help to show how much happens during the younger, informative years! They kept the children's attention and had them giggling! Teaching lessons about sharing, how to treat friends, how there is a right and wrong time for everything, and more, your littles are sure to love this show!
