I had the opportunity to take my little boy to see Sesame Street Live at the Brown Theatre last night and we had so muchb2ap3_thumbnail_coloin.jpg fun!  He was excited to see so many of his favorite characters on stage.  From Elmo and Grover to Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and Zoe, they were all there.  We have been to Sesame Street Live in the past and it is such a well-done professional show.  It is money well spent for the kids to have an educational, entertaining experience.

Hosted by two live performers, Sesame Street Live “Let’s Dance!” offers an up-close, interactive experience that includes dance parties.  This was such a great show because what little kid doesn't love to dance?  From the minute the show started everyone was encouraged to get up and dance along!  To our surprise, the characters came into the aisles and interacted with the children, getting them to dance and move along!  The characters moved with ease into the audience and were so careful around all of the children, never once acting rushed and taking their time to pose for photos.

Elmo uses his imagination to ‘Do the Robot,’ Cookie teaches all ‘feets’ to dance, and Ernie shares the fun of dance with the Sesame Street favorite “Shake Your Head One Time.” Favorite friends join the audience on the floor – dancing with fans, not just for them. It’s Sesame Street Live like you’ve never experienced it before!

Sesame Street Live is a larger-than-life, musical touring stage production featuring Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie…and more.  Each performance is 90 minutes of singing, dancing and audience participation, including a 15-minute intermission.  The perfect length for very young children!  There are reasonably priced concessions and a merchandise booth as well!  No trip to Sesame Street live would be complete without the cotton candy (which was only $5) and an Elmo head balloon!
