Silver Heights Youth Camp was founded by James H. Conner

As a humanitarian, he wanted to establish a holiness camp in the area of New Albany so that the people in the community could gather and worship. In 1888, he successfully established the institution and brought peacefulness and equal respect amongst the people.

Silver Heights is a Christian camp for kids who are 13-18.  The schedule includes group and breakout lessons and devotional times with Christian teaching.  There is a worship service every evening in our outdoor tabernacle and parents are invited to attend.  There will also be Frisbee Golf, basketball, hiking trails, swimming, corn hole and a gaga pit.  Students from Asbury University are the counselors and the kids stay in cabins or a dormitory.

Dates/Times: June 9-16, 2019.  Arrival is 3pm on June 9 and departure time is June 16 after the evening service.

There is no cost for the camp but they are limited to 80 kids.

Location: 501 Camp Avenue, New Albany, Indiana  (15 minutes from downtown Louisville)
