Ever wonder what the Tooth Fairy does with your tooth?  The kids in Mrs. Schneider’s first grade class wonder the same thing.  While they should be learning about conservation and preserving our environment, they are focused on their teeth.  So Mrs. Schneider does what every good teacher does.  She uses their obsession for teeth to trick them into learning their lessons.  Meanwhile, they plan to trap the Tooth Fairy and get some answers. This world premiere musical comedy is sure to spark your children’s imagination and leave them giggling!

THE TOOTH FAIRY was written for the Derby Dinner stage by Tina Jo Wallace with Music by Scott Bradley.  Songs featured in THE TOOTH FAIRY are “Dear Tooth Fairy”, “Magic in Mystery”, “Treasure Outta Trash!”, and more!  Derby Dinner’s production of THE TOOTH FAIRY is under the direction of Bekki Jo Schneider.  The cast will include Mitch Donahue, Marina Hart, Carly Stotts, Stacia McKee, Sally Scott, Timothy Stucky, and Katelyn Webb.

All public performances of THE TOOTH FAIRY are on Saturdays with Breakfast at 9:00 a.m. and Lunch at 12:00 p.m.  An evening performance has been added on Monday – March 9, 2015.  All performances feature a kid friendly menu.  This production is most suitable for ages 3 - 12.  Tickets range from $16 - $21 and include your meal and the show!

School performances of THE TOOTH FAIRY are available throughout the week and are scheduled for February 23, 24, 26, 27, March 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 2015.  Lesson Plans that meet the Kentucky and Indiana academic goals are made available to enhance the educational opportunities.

THE TOOTH FAIRY is an official Yes! Fest event.  Derby Dinner continues the "year of environmental sustainability" by incorporating conservation education into our production.  While the students in Mrs. Schneider's 1st grade class are obsessed with all things tooth fairy, she uses their preoccupation to trick them into learning about the environment.  Through songs like “Taking Care of the Earth is Taking Care of You” and “Treasure Outta Trash” the kids have fun learning about reducing, reusing and recycling.
