The Galt House Hotel offers a Holiday experience like no other with their Christmas at the Galt House Hotel events!  There are so many fun things to do and see and I highly recommend them all!  We started our experience with the Snow Fairy Princess Tea!  The Mommy Nest was excited to be a part of the event where children of all ages could come experience a fun tea with pastries while meeting the Snow Fairy Princess.  This event takes place in the Willow Room on the Rivue Tower side of the hotel.  It is so much fun just walking through...

I had the pleasure of attending both the Louisville Ballet’s production of the Brown-Foreman Nutcracker this past weekend, as well as the Sugar Plum Fairy Party they held beforehand!  There were three generations present, my 6 year old, my mom and myself; and all of us loved the experience equally. I had the opportunity to try out a new yoga mat thanks to the Mommy Nest. I currently use a cheap purple foam mat that I picked up on clearance from Target a few years ago that has served me well. I use my current mat for P90x which if your not familiar with is a combination of yoga, cardio, and strength building exercises so the mat sees lots of abuse. I am also not one that adjusts to change well especially when it comes to my workout routine, so I must say was a little more than apprehensive about changing...

What a site, my two middle children at play. See I have lots of cabinets in my kitchen, so many in fact I somehow ended up with an empty one. Honestly I didn't really know this until yesterday. I should have realized when I never had to go into it for anything. So yesterday Lizard was being nosey and opening cabinets.
